First Birthday

We love this guy.

He loves balls and cars...and he will laugh at just about anything.

In August we celebrated his first Birthday.

He gets to share his special day with Grandpa Johnston.

The party was fan-tas-tic.

catch up

We have a LOT to catch up on!

August was pretty swell.

We got to spend some time with the Johnston clan.

A visit from Megan, Matt, Ness, & Tommy.

Then a visit from the Black clan.

We spent a day on the Sand dunes by the Coast.

Uncle Craig is pretty awesome for sharing his toys.

Here we are camped out and picnicing in the middle of the parking lot.
(We are pretty Classy).

summer

I keep seeing Back to School sales everywhere.

BACK TO SCHOOL...already?!

The summer is really flying by.

Good thing we've been taking advantage of the beautiful weather with:

Some trips to the beach

(you can't go to the beach without a trip to BJ's Ice cream).

mmm...

and camping with friends.

Hopefully we can get some more in before it really is back to school.

P time

The first day we went through every pair of underwear...before noon.

It makes me SO frustrated.

But then I remember how much I hate having 2 in diapers.

I'm determined to do this.

Today started off good.

One sticker on the chart!

All things Pink

Here are a couple of pictures from the birthday celebration.

Maggs requested a pizza picnic in the backyard.

We couldn't have asked for better weather.

A pink party. Hmmm...wonder what her favorite color is?

The day before her birthday her eye swelled up like a golf ball. Luckily, with lots of benadryl and cold compresses, it was almost normal for her big day. Dr. said it was some sort of allergic reaction to pollen or something.
Weird.
The best part is when the Dr. described her eye as "pink and purple," she got all excited..."My favorite colors!"

She's so positive.

She also thinks turning 5 is the best thing that has ever happened to her.
